The system is awesome!! And it’s super easy to use. I use it for convenience, entertainment, safety, energy efficiency- you name it. I can play multiple sources of music anywhere in my house, and I can watch my DVR or Blu-ray in multiple rooms. I love the lighting schemes. I set it to “Morning” when I wake up and only the lights I need turn on. When it’s time to go to bed I just select “All Off”. One of the best features is how I can control everything from my phone even when I’m not home. I can check my security system and cameras, control the temp, turn off lights, etc. The system really is great and there are too many features to name.

Hooked Up Installs provided us with a Whole Home Automation system that includes audio, video, security, and lighting. Brent and his team were very professional and paid great attention to detail during the entire process from design to install. Brent has always been helpful as we continue to add new features and automation. Our surround sound systems are awesome and the lighting scenes really set the ambiance in our new home. Our first real test of the system came on vacation when showing the iPhone integration to family members. We noticed from the front porch camera that UPS had delivered a lot of our new furniture and we would not be home for a week. Concerned, we called friends to move it to our garage. We were able to remotely disable the alarm, turn on lights, open the garage and reset the alarm for our friends to move the packages. What a cool system!

Brent was a lifesaver. I acquired an HDTV with various components and Comcast HD all at once. I just didn’t have time, patience, nor the expertise to put it all together. Brent arrived on time, and even though the installation took a bit longer than he expected, he charged me the very price he quoted on the phone. Hooked Up Installs was a pleasure to work with! From the in-home consultation to the final setup and configuration walk-through, Brent and his team were right on point with making sure each component and setting were done to perfection. I had them mount multiple LCDs, each with the wires hidden and the cables set for HD quality, and each is nicely centered and placed in the prime location for good visibility and access…we even had them put an LCD in the master bathroom where we didn’t have any power or space for any cable boxes! Wow! It looks fantastic and makes getting ready for work an HD experience! Finally, they provided and installed an amazing surround sound home theater solution…Brent and his team configured the sound, programmed the universal remote, placed the IR Repeaters, and showed me how everything works. We recently moved to a new condo in downtown Chicago. Our doorman suggested using Hooked Up Installs to get us fully connected with speakers in virtually every room. A number of owners have used them were very happy with the service that they provided. We were as well. They met our agreed to timelines, their pricing was good, and they are responsible. The guys from Hooked Up Installs were fantastic. I needed a mounted TV removed and a new TV installed to the same location. They also had to deal with an existing soundbar and in-wall wiring. I used Hooked up Installs to come to my house and organize all my AV work done by someone that owned our house before. They came highly recommended by someone. They were not only professional but timely and full of knowledge and patience as my husband and I are less than clueless with this stuff. What I love about this company is they are more than capable of completely hooking up a huge house or commercial building but are not “too good” to take on a smaller job as well. After years of difficult service (at best) a similar firm in Lake Forest, I found Hooked Up. These guys are amazing - not because of technical expertise (of course they have that) but because of how crisp, fast and professional their service is. Brent and his team did a great job with our new television and sound system installation. It was a challenging room to work with and they made it look easy. I just wanted to thank Adam and the team again for their time and patience in getting our Harmony remote working again! They provided such a high level of service and responsiveness that I have not come across in a very long time--especially in this post-Covid world we live in now. I hired Hooked Up to come out to the house to upgrade some tvs, our Sonos system and boost wifi coverage. Brent provided a quick and thorough estimate, with great suggestions to streamline all of our systems. He is incredibly responsive and willing to answer any questions and adjust to any tweaks. His team did a thorough job with the installation and took particular time to walk me through all of the new functionality. First, Brent, the owner, was very quick to respond to my inquiry. My project was time sensitive and he jumped all over it- meeting me at my home the same day I called- gettign the one day porject scheduled for just a few days later. Second, his team's communication and workmanship was precisely what I needed; the project wasnt easy and I knew there would be hurdles. They identified those, communicated them with proposed solution and executed on them in a very professional manner. Third, for a professional firm, the rates were very reasonable, and in fact, the final invoice was actually less than the estimated amount! Highly recommend this company. Brent was so easy to work with, listened to what I wanted and picked the perfect tv's for my house. The installers, Jack & Jeff, were professional, accomodating, efficient and went above and beyond, when they encountered some difficulty, with the cable connection on one tv. Also, they removed the old equipment and the packaging for the new. They were very careful and cleaned up everything. I can't say enough good things about Hooked Up Installs and I would definitely use them again.
